After a day of emotional distress at the hands of...
I am now going to start “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho… Deidre seems to believe this will heal some of my new emotional distress… She was also the one who caused said emotional distress by lending me “The Hunger Games.” Oh, what I do for friends.. but seriously… I LOVE READING

rinstigator replied to your post: rinstigator replied to your post: rinstigator… They were on par with the first. I thought anyway. It was the first person POV that was weird for me as well. I’m excited about the movie though . I do want to see the movie because I think it will be one of few books that will translate well to the screen.

I couldn’t connect with any of the characters =[ can be a problem… that’s why i’m not a fan of 1st person POV. you are FORCED to try to connect to one character. I’m just really un-easy about the next two books…

rinstigator replied to your post: GGGGUUUUUYYYYSSSSSS I feel like the only person who was unimpressed by the THG o.0’ It isn’t ADwD but its still pretty good, I think. I don’t really like the way it is written but I still feel like it sucked a bit of my soul out…but not nearly as much as Red Wedding did..

Alas, my friends...
I feel like poop… My stomach is cramping for no good reason and I have a killer migraine. So, tonight is an earlier than usual night. But I will probably be on later if this “sleep” thing doesn’t work. Until then, Good night!

Valid reasons to be annoyed with CBS right now:
tomithejellyfish: oxfordtweed: ° Watson is no longer the accomplished and decorated war hero and army doctor, two aspects of the character which have always, in some way or another, coloured the way the character behaves and the decisions they make. Not only does it change the character, but it sends a message that women aren’t capable of fighting for their country. ° Related to the above,...

karenmaywrites: The Instinctive Drowning Response is what people do to avoid actual or perceived suffocation in the water. And it does not look like most people expect. There is very little splashing, no waving, and no yelling or calls for help of any kind. To get an idea of just how quiet and undramatic from the surface drowning can be, consider this: It is the number two cause of...
